Supply chain risk is changing more rapidly than ever before, with new regulatory challenges, geopolitical and domestic political issues, and changing sourcing demands having a major impact on companies of all sizes. In this webinar, BSI will review emerging risks and threats to supply chain resilience, evaluate the responses that companies can take to mitigate and take advantage of these risks, and use case studies to illustrate successful responses.

The webinar will show the importance of building an overall management system for supply chain risk management that includes relevant stakeholders across the organization, from procurement and purchasing to legal and trade compliance. To ensure continued success of these efforts, BSI will discuss how to successfully integrate technology into supply chain risk management and demonstrate return on investment.

Tony is an experienced supply chain risk consultant with a broad range of specialized skill sets, including conducting end-to-end, enterprise-level supply chain risk assessments for clients and their supply chain partners. As a member of BSI’s Advisory team, he designs and implements supply chain security programs and management systems. 

Tony has also designed loss prevention and security assessments, mapped security, and business continuity risk in supply chains for Fortune 500 companies, and assisted in the successful implementation of supply chain security procedures, including for CTPAT certification.

Anna Lee Robbins is a Lead Intelligence Analyst on the BSI Connect Screen platform. She has been with BSI for over five years, after joining through the Screen Research Associate program.  With a Master's in International Policy from the University of Georgia, Anna Lee plays a key role in delivering timely intelligence and data on global supply chains, including developments related to crime, regulatory changes, human rights, and environmental violations.

Conor O'Brien joined AAFA's policy team in 2024 as its Sustainability Policy Coordinator after completing his Masters in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University. Prior to joining AAFA, Conor worked for several years with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Boston, where he engaged with RCRA compliance, state coordination, climate adaptation planning, and environmental justice application. Initially trained as a chemist at Princeton University, Conor combines scientific research with policy analysis and application to provide holistic approaches to sustainable resource usage in pursuit of a more circular economy. Conor supports the work of the AAFA Environmental Committee and AAFA Product Safety Council by engaging with public and private stakeholders on issues of sustainability, product safety, and chemical management germane to the apparel and footwear industry.
