Thursday, January 16, 2025

2:00 PM ET to 3:00 PM ET | Online

Audience:

Open industry. All apparel and footwear industry professionals, regardless of AAFA membership, are encouraged to participate.

Description:

The fashion and apparel industry is coming off a year marked by global trade disruptions, increased regulatory pressures, and a strategic pivot in sourcing and manufacturing. Looking to 2025, brands and retailers face pressing questions about what’s coming down the pipeline and how to prepare for upcoming challenges.

Does moving manufacturing closer to end markets eliminate risks? Will shifting toward synthetic materials offset regulatory scrutiny? According to Ana Hinojosa, Oritain Advisor and Former CBP Executive Director, even a small percentage of forced labor-tainted cotton fibers in a garment can expose companies to bigger risks.

Attendees of this webinar will learn:
  • About proposed tariffs, movements in manufacturing hubs, and industry impacts.
  • Why sourcing diversification doesn’t eliminate compliance risks.
  • How to proactively detect disruptions through increased visibility.
