Washington Children's Safe Products Act

The reporting rule for the Children’s Safe Product Act requires that companies disclose the presence of Chemicals of High Concern to Children (CHCC). AAFA released guidance on how to comply with the reporting requirements of the Washington Children Safe Products Act (CSPA). The purpose of this guidance is to provide the apparel and footwear industry with a common methodology to approach the reporting decision making process to ensure a degree of consistent reporting throughout the industry. Reporting is done on a tiered schedule based on the type of product and size of the company.
