Webinar Trade Policy in 2017-Is the U.S. Getting Left Behind
This webinar, with Sourcing Journal, will explain the continually evolving global trade policies stemming from the administration in Washington.
Audience: Member-only webinars are crafted and presented by AAFA to address member needs and provide exclusive insights around industry developments. AAFA member-only webinars are closed-press.
Description:
This 45-minute joint webinar, in collaboration with Sourcing Journal, will explain what you must know about the continually evolving global trade policies stemming from the administration in Washington.
With candor and a bit of wit, we’ll share how the climate Washington is shaping commercial realities today, tomorrow, and for years to come.
AAFA’s Rick Helfenbein will share unique perspectives within the context of his more than 40 years of experience in the apparel, footwear, and accessories industry. AAFA’s globe-trotting trade expert, Steve Lamar will explain how to get involved — and what’s at stake if you don’t — in clear and candid terms. And Sourcing Journal’s top story-teller, Eddie Hertzman, promises to break it down for those of you that aren’t Washington wonks.
On December 11, join us to assess the impact of the past 11 months under the Trump administration and how to act as global citizens to shape policies in 2018. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of:
What happened around trade policy in 2017.
The growing overlap between trade and tax policy impacting the apparel and footwear industry.
What companies across the apparel and footwear industry can do about it heading into 2018.
