Virtual Learning Series Announced!
AAFA will present one of our heritage programs, the Footwear Workshop, normally hosted at New Balance, as a virtual e-learning series in 2020!
Join us for our new Fall Footwear E-Learning Series where we will cover sustainability, product safety & compliance, the changing retail environment, and trade policy. These four episodes will be released over four weeks this fall!
EPISODE 4: TRADE POLICY AND WHAT’S NEXT
What is your biggest trade challenge right now? AAFA leadership staff will walk through what AGOA means for footwear, impacts of the miscellaneous tariff bill, making CAFTA-DR work. Not to forget – China tariffs, PPE transformations, and the state of tariffs, could Vietnam be next?
AAFA leadership will cover:
• Where do we go from here – what will help us, what could hurt us?
• Sourcing patterns and the current state of play
• Sourcing stats by country
• Trade policy impacting footwear
