Join AAFA as the Product Safety & Compliance Seminar returns to Long Beach, CA! The seminar is held in conjunction with AAFA's
Environmental Committee Meeting, kicking off with a Networking Reception on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, followed by the full-day Seminar on Thursday, February 6, 2024 at the Westin Long Beach.
Audience
All apparel and footwear industry professionals, regardless of AAFA membership, are encouraged to participate. Product safety, compliance, regulatory, quality assurance, and chemical management professionals from entry level to executive level are invited to join us. This program is closed to press attendance and coverage, except for the session "Compliance Meets Efficiency - A Glimpse at CPSC eFiling" featuring Sabrina Keller, Deputy Director, Office of Import Surveillance, U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Description
Product safety, quality, and compliance have grown more complex across the supply chain as new materials and innovation are incorporated into production. Addressing regulations from the federal level down to the state and county level, this program supports the development of a comprehensive risk-based approach to unify global operations with legislative standards across compliance systems and protocols. Co-located with this seminar, AAFA’s Environmental and Social Responsibility Committee meetings provide attending members with expanded resources and alignment.
This event is a crucial part of AAFA’s focus on galvanizing the industry to build upon strong supply chain and sourcing commitments to result in safe products so that members, consumers, workers, and the environment will thrive.

Environmental Committee Meeting - AAFA Members Only. Separate registration required.
The
Environmental Committee Meeting will start on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 12:30 PM PT and conclude at 5:15 PM PT. You must register separately to attend the meeting. Attendees of the committee meeting are welcome to attend the Product Safety Networking Reception that evening!

Social Responsibility Committee will meet for a full day in downtown LA on Tuesday, February 4, separate from the Environmental Committee and Product Safety & Compliance Seminar.
